Family sessions are the heart of my business. This is the reason I do what I do. Our families will only be as they are right now for just a little while. Children get bigger. Parents get older. And while every new stage is just as beautiful as the last, we always wish we could just freeze them in time, just as they are in this very moment.
Photos are the closest thing we have to being able to do that.
I'm here to document your family as they are. If you're looking for beautiful, authentic photos to remember this time in your life, you've come to the right place.

I'm based in Sioux City, Iowa. I also frequently travel to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. I work in both locations and the surrounding areas.
$300
This price includes a full session for one immediate family. There will be an additional charge for larger groups.
2 families - $400
3+ families - $500
Extended family sessions will include single family shots, full group shots, and any other combination shots.
My pricing includes the session itself as well as ALL of the edited digital images.
No hidden fees, watermarked images, or having to choose between your favorites. You'll receive a link to an online gallery where you'll be free to download any and all of the photos to use as you wish.

Family sessions are usually shot outside, but that does not mean they have to be. If you were hoping for an in-home session or had another location in mind, just let me know.
If you are looking for a studio session, it is an option, however, there will be a $50 studio rental fee added to the session price.
My portrait sessions don't have a time limit. We'll shoot until I feel confident that I have enough good photos to deliver you a full and beautiful gallery of images that we are both happy with. Sometimes this takes 30 minutes - sometimes it takes closer to an hour. I guarantee 25 edited images for every session, but there is often more.
A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to book your session, and the remaining fee is due the day of.
How it works
Once we choose a date and location for your photoshoot, I'll send you my free style guide (in case you're looking for some guidance), an invoice for the retainer fee, and my contract. Make sure you read through it carefully before signing it and sending it back.
